The Continuum Project is the work of Chris Alstrin: independent filmmaker - directing and producing documentary and adventure films for seven years. He has worked with the top rock, ice and alpine climbers in the world. Extending the focus of Alstrin's earlier film, Higher Ground, gain new perspective on the motivations and courage of some of the world’s top climbers through the superb cinematography and innovative approach of The Continuum Project. Clear out your gear room! Make way for more! It’s time for the Mazamas Annual Used Equipment Sale! Sellers can make some money by letting go of unused gear and buyers can get great deals on field-tested equipment. The Sale will be held at the Mazama Mountaineering Center on Saturday March 27th. Nordic and telemark ski gear, snowshoes, all kinds of outdoor clothing, assorted (and we do mean assorted!) camping and backpacking gear, shoes and boots, books and technical climbing gear will all be available. This is a great chance to clean out your gear room of unneeded stuff, make a buck, help out the Mazamas and find some great deals yourself. Did you miss getting enrolled in BCEP? You can still enroll in the Chemeketan's Climb School!! The annual Climb School is a great introduction to basic mountaineering and rock climbing skills. Chemeketan Climb School, or an equivalent, is required to participate in the club sponsored climbs. Click here for more info

Climb Max Gym Crawl to begin on April 7th!! We will visit a different gym every Wednesday night and have worked some magic for anyone that wants to join us. Magic? Yes, magic. Everyone that RSVPs will get to visit the gym for a mere $10. Plus, ask us about carpooling! First Wednesdays we'll visit Portland Rock Gym, second Wednesdays Stoneworks, third Wednesdays The Circuit and fourth Wednesdays we'll visit ClubSport.
