Designed for those who want to keep weight and gear to a minimum, the Alpine Bod is ultra light and totally functional. Can you say "No Frills?" Sure you can, and you will once you get a hold of the Alpine Bod. Sporting quick-release leg loop buckles (a must-have in the mountains) you can easily enter and exit the A-Bod while wearing crampons, skis or plastic boots. The wide waistbelt and leg loops are supportive and won’t cut into the skin on long routes. Weighing only 12.3 ounces and costing less than a decent bottle of wine, we consider the Alpine Bod to be the greatest mountaineering harness around.
